A Day of Hope.......
Turning symbols of decay into visions of hope.

Agnes Lindsay, known to most as "Granny," knows all about being poor and trying to feed, clothe and educate children - she once was a young widow raising five small children. Her trust in God and pure determination helped Granny survive and she never forgot the feeling of needing the help of others. Over the years Granny has been responsible for sending truck loads of much needed supplies to the poor in the Appalachian mountains of West Virginia. At the age of 93, Granny still helps others.
In honor and celebration of Granny's life of faith her family proudly donates a home like the one pictured below to benefit a family in St. Thomas, Jamaica.
$123 covers the cost of a roof
$237 provides 2 windows and doors
$2,000 blesses a poor Jamaican family with a sturdy new home!!

Granny Lindsay appears on WGGS-TV 16 in Greenville, SC. Through the years Granny has helped pack many tractor-trailor loads of blankets, clothing and toys to send to the poor living in the mountains of West Virginia.
