"Operation Pet Rescue"

Our Mission

To assist those rescue groups who are providing care and shelter for the many companion animals displaced by Hurricane Katrina until they can be reunited with their loving families and returned to the safety of their own homes.

$35,000.00

Thanks to the generous listeners of The Mike Gallagher Show and Fox News viewers Gallagher's Army has been able to contribute $35,000.00 toward rebuilding the animal rescue shelter in Slidell, LA.

Your help is still needed. Although the stories of devastation caused by the hurricanes this year are not on the nightly news and the front pages of our newspapers everyday.... there is still much work to be done. Gallagher's Army will continue to assist the many rescue efforts during the coming months to help find homes for all the wonderful pets who have been displaced. We will follow through with our commitment to help rebuild the animal shelter in Slidell, LA. Your continued support is much appreciated. -Mike Gallagher

Tatum Ridge Elementary School Students Make a Difference!

The students of Tatum Ridge Elementary School wanted to help. The kids had seen the horrible images on TV of the animals who needed food, shelter and some "tender loving care." This group of parents, teachers and students in Sarasota, FL made a difference by organizing a bake sale and contributing $576.00 to help with the pet rescue efforts. In the true spirit of Gallagher's Army, these young cadets made a positive statement by their unselfish service to those in need.

Lemonade Stand in Waunakee, WI raises money to help the Pet's of Katrina

Nine year old Katie Bruns - her dog Benji - and some of her friends sold lemonade to raise money to help the pets. Katie said, " I hope this helps and thanks for getting this to them."
